State College Bike Polo!

So I’ve seen the sport in highlights around the internet but, I haven’t actually looked in to it. While visiting Freeze Thaw the other day, I noticed a flyer requesting responses from people interested in playing some local bike polo. I figure if I get my Gritty into proper fixed-gear, I’ll give it a shot. I’m looking for more interesting things to do on a bike anyway so, I guess this is a good venue to explore.

My name is Nathan and I am the person trying to organize bike polo in State College. I am happy that you posted this blog entry (it is the first google hit for state college bike polo). We have scheduled to play Sunday evening at the YMCA roller rink at 6:00 pm. It’d be great for you to come out play. Please feel free to e-mail me with questions. Again, I hope you can come.
